We provide community-based assessment and support for people across Dorset affected by cancer.
Our team of specialist nurses helps cancer patients who are experiencing high levels of anxiety or stress, or side effects arising from their treatment. It also supports people receiving treatment that could potentially be administered or monitored in the community, and works to prevent hospital admissions as much as possible.

Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment Clinic
We also run a weekly Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment Clinic at Canford Heath Health Clinic, Poole. If you feel you need your cancer genetic risk assessed, please first read the online information "Are you worried about cancer". If you still have concerns, contact your GP who will – if appropriate – refer you to our service.
