A confidence boosting, regaining independence and peer support workshop. Communication Plus is for people who have had a stroke and feel like they need support to manage their everyday routine and to re-gain a fulfilling life. It will provide you with the opportunity to practise your communication in a supportive environment and work towards practical goals.
The face-to-face workshops are for one morning a week for around two hours for 10 weeks.
The next dates are in January. These will be virtual and there will be two one-hour long sessions.

Mr C: independently went to the bank for the first time since his stroke. Mr P: independent bus travel to unfamiliar location to boost confidence. Ms S: started volunteering with a theatre company. Ms Y: taken steps to return to driving.
Speakability is part of the Stroke Association and is for people with aphasia following head trauma.
Activities take place on Wednesdays from 11am to 1pm at:
