Community Neurology Service:
The Community Neurology Service provides specialist support, advice, and monitoring for adults with a long-term neurological/neuromuscular condition to enable people to manage the impact of their condition and live as independently as possible.
The Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service
The service provides specialist rehabilitation and support to people across Dorset who have an acquired brain injury. The service works with people to help them achieve their long-term goals in areas such as community living, functional independence, work, education and relationships, with the aim of enabling people to live as independently as possible and improve their quality of life.
Specialist Parkinson’s Nurses
The Dorset nurse-led service provides support, information and advice for people who have a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and Parkinsonism. This includes areas such as self-management, food and drink, treatment and medication, lifestyle changes, managing symptoms and activity
